ABOUT US
SLSS provides professional, personalised, specialist Speech and Language Therapy for adults aged over 18 in the North West of England. Assessment and therapy is offered in the comfort of your own home. We also provide training to care homes and other relevant agencies.
Our caring, dedicated therapist has many years experience working in the NHS. During which time she has worked with many acquired and progressive neurological conditions such as Stroke, Parkinson's Disease, Dementia, Motor Neuron Disease, and Multiple Sclerosis.

Personalised to your need
SPEECH, LANGUAGE & COMMUNICATION
We offer assessment, therapy and support for comprehension and/or expressive difficulties (understanding and talking).Working with you and your family/carers, we help to improve quality of life and support you towards achieving your maximum potential.
DYSPHAGIA (SWALLOWING)
Working with you and your family/carers we provide assessment and advice regarding safe swallowing strategies. We also offer swallowing therapy exercises where evidence based and appropriate to do so.
VOICE THERAPY
Support and advice for patients who already have a diagnosis as to the cause of their voice difficulties (most likely from an ENT - Ears, Nose and Throat - consultant).
CARE HOME TRAINING
Informative practical training is available for professionals and other agencies/organisations who wish to expand their knowledge about speech, language and swallowing difficulties. Personalised training can be developed on request.
